WalkSutra Physiotherapy
For many people, arthritis doesn’t begin with severe pain.
At WalkSutra, we believe arthritis is more than a condition affecting the joints.
And the freedom to move without constantly thinking about pain.
In many cases, the right movement is one of the most important parts of managing arthritis.
Arthritis is not a single disease.
It is a group of conditions that affect the joints, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, post-traumatic arthritis, and several other inflammatory joint disorders. Because each type of arthritis behaves differently, successful rehabilitation begins with understanding the specific condition, your symptoms, and your functional goals.
Every rehabilitation journey at WalkSutra starts with a comprehensive musculoskeletal and functional assessment.
We evaluate joint mobility, muscle strength, flexibility, balance, walking pattern, posture, swelling, movement quality, functional limitations, and the activities that have become difficult in your everyday life.
Instead of focusing only on an X-ray or blood report,
We focus on how arthritis is affecting the way you live—and how rehabilitation can help you move more comfortably and confidently.
Our rehabilitation programmes combine evidence-informed physiotherapy, therapeutic exercise, joint mobility training, muscle strengthening, flexibility exercises, balance rehabilitation, gait training, posture correction, activity modification, pain education, and personalised home rehabilitation programmes designed to improve function and support long-term joint health.
When clinically appropriate, advanced rehabilitation technologies may complement active rehabilitation. These may include Class IV Laser Therapy, TECAR Therapy, Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES), Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) for selected functional goals, Microcurrent Therapy, therapeutic ultrasound, digital gait analysis, and movement assessment technology. These technologies are selected according to your clinical needs and are used to complement—not replace—active rehabilitation.

Every rehabilitation programme begins with understanding joint mobility, muscle strength, flexibility, walking pattern, balance, posture, and the activities that are most affected by arthritis.
No two people experience arthritis in the same way. Your rehabilitation programme is tailored to your diagnosis, symptoms, lifestyle, daily activities, and personal goals.
Our rehabilitation combines therapeutic exercise, movement science, patient education, and functional training to improve mobility, reduce pain, support joint function, and enhance quality of life.

Recovery is about more than symptom relief. We help you improve strength, optimise movement, protect your joints, and develop sustainable habits that support long-term mobility and independence.
Arthritis may change the way your joints feel.
It does not have to change the way you live.
Whether your goal is walking more comfortably, staying active, reducing stiffness, preparing for joint replacement, or returning to the activities you enjoy, our rehabilitation team is here to support you with personalised, evidence-informed care.
