WalkSutra Physiotherapy
It often begins with something so small that most people ignore it.
Then gradually…
At WalkSutra, we believe knee osteoarthritis is not just about worn cartilage.
And most importantly…

Because every person has different goals, every rehabilitation programme should be different too.
Our rehabilitation journey begins with a comprehensive assessment of the knee and the way your body moves.
We evaluate walking pattern, joint mobility, muscle strength, flexibility, balance, alignment, stair climbing, sitting and standing, weight-bearing tolerance, and the everyday activities that have become difficult.
Instead of focusing only on the X-ray,
We focus on how your knee is functioning today and how it can function better tomorrow.
Our rehabilitation programmes combine evidence-informed physiotherapy, therapeutic exercise, quadriceps and hip strengthening, balance training, flexibility exercises, gait retraining, manual therapy where clinically appropriate, weight-management education, activity modification, and personalised home exercise programmes designed to improve function and support long-term joint health.
When clinically appropriate, advanced rehabilitation technologies may complement active rehabilitation. These may include Class IV Laser Therapy, TECAR Therapy, Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES), Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) for selected functional goals, Microcurrent Therapy, therapeutic ultrasound, digital gait analysis, and movement assessment technology. These technologies are selected according to individual clinical needs and are used to complement—not replace—active rehabilitation.
For many individuals, a structured rehabilitation programme, lifestyle modification, and regular exercise can significantly improve pain, function, and quality of life. When surgical assessment is appropriate, we also support patients with prehabilitation and post-operative rehabilitation.
At WalkSutra, every milestone matters.
Because rehabilitation is not simply about treating a knee.
It is about helping you keep living the life you enjoy.
Every rehabilitation programme begins with understanding joint movement, muscle strength, walking pattern, balance, functional abilities, and the factors contributing to your symptoms.
No two knees are the same. Your rehabilitation plan is designed around your symptoms, daily activities, health status, and personal goals.
Our approach combines therapeutic exercise, movement science, patient education, and functional rehabilitation to improve mobility, reduce pain, and support long-term joint function.
When clinically appropriate, rehabilitation may incorporate Class IV Laser Therapy, TECAR Therapy, Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES), Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES), Microcurrent Therapy, therapeutic ultrasound, digital gait analysis, and movement assessment technology to complement active rehabilitation.
Recovery extends beyond symptom relief. We help you improve strength, optimise movement, reduce unnecessary joint stress, and develop habits that support long-term knee health and independence.
Knee osteoarthritis may slow you down.
It doesn’t have to stop you.
Whether your goal is walking without fear, climbing stairs with confidence, delaying or preparing for surgery, or simply enjoying everyday life with less pain, our rehabilitation team is here to support you with personalised, evidence-informed care.
